What will you do?
Develop content strategies for our community of Teachers.
Work with cross-functional teams to establish and articulate internal and external key messages, and ensure that content is aligned accordingly
Use your understanding of SEO, keyword research, information architecture, and usability best practices to deliver targeted content
Work with editors, writers, UX designers, content management system developers, and marketers to deliver stories that are aligned with business goals
Identify gaps in our content and recommend new topics and formulate the content strategy for our app and the website.
Create style guides to use as reference
Proofread and edit written pieces before publication
Follow industry-related news and generate ideas around trending topics
Review and update published content as needed
What do we need?
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism or relevant field.
Proven work experience of 2+ years as a Content Strategist, Content Manager or similar role at a B2C startup
Familiarity with SEO guidelines and keyword research tools
Professional certifications like Content Strategy Training, Content Strategy for Professionals, etc will be preferred.
A professional portfolio depicting your work experience would be preferred.
Working experience in project management
Outstanding knowledge of content strategies to build a powerful network.
Excellent knowledge of Content Management Systems like WordPress, Joomla, etc.
Strong working knowledge of various social media platforms and strategies.
Highly productive and creative writing skills.
Outstanding time management skills.
Ability to motivate and guide members of the team.
