About the role – Sales Managers, International Business at Teachmint:


As part of our rapid growth plan, we are looking for dynamic and ambitious Sales Managers to join the Teachmint SaaS Business team. The incumbent will be a hunter and be responsible to generate annual recurring revenue of at least $500k by building a new customer base in developing countries across the globe.


Key responsibilities:

  1. Develop a deep understanding of Teachmint SAAS offering within the first month
  2. Drive new revenue taking charge of closing strategic and profitable deals
  3. Create and maintain a pipeline of 50+ clients at any point in time
  4. Consistently achieve and exceed mutually agreed upon monthly sales goals
  5. Close annual recurring deals of $500k by landing new accounts by the end of first year
  6. Tactfully negotiate by understanding the client’s decision making and approval process
  7. Successful handoff to the account manager
  8. Proactively share insights and learnings from client conversations
  9. Assist the Product team in meetings to understand problems clients are facing
  10. Focus on personal competence building across all stages of sales. 
  11. Constantly learning better ways to prospect, discover, negotiate, close, etc.
  12. Share and build a best-practices knowledge base to share with current and future sales team members


Other Responsibilities:

  1. Build a strategically selected list of target clients (with the help of Sales Leader)
  2. Constantly connect and pitch to top-level executives and decision makers at prospects
  3. Take initiative and drive inputs to increase revenue and build additional revenue stream
  4. Drive experiments: Establish clear use-cases and manage pilots with measurable business impact
  5. Exploring new markets/target segments

Preferred Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in managing and delivering strong sales preferably international sales
  • High degree of ownership in taking things to completion
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills
  • Collaboratively worked with internal stakeholders and demonstrated strong hold on communication to modify activity and notify stakeholders of relevant outcomes, fluctuations, and plans
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment, learn on the job and get things done.
  • Must be data driven with strong problem solving and analytical skills
